Assalamualaikum,

SAYA BERKERJA DIBAHAGIAN PHARMACY SAYA BERTANGGUNGJAWAP UNTUK MENYEBARKAN

Senarai ubat-ubatan ini merupakan sebahagian daripada produk farmaseutikal yang dikenalpasti mengandungi bahan-bahan daripada sumber babi/procine

Tujuan senarai ubat-ubat daripada sumber babi ini dibuat bukanlah untuk menjatuhkan atau memburukkan mana-mana jenama, produk ataupun syarikat farmaseutikal yang terlibat.

Sebaliknya ia bertujuan untuk memberi pendedahan dan panduan kepada orang ramai selain memberi sedikit tekanan kepada industri farmaseutikal agar menghormati sensitiviti umat Islam dengan menghasilkan ubat daripada sumber alternatif lain yang halal.

Jawatankuasa Penasihat Ubat-Ubatan, Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya (PPUM).Keperluan berikut mestilah dipenuhi sebelum ubat-ubat daripada sumber bukan halal ini digunakan. Kepada para pesakit, anda tidak perlu bimbang kerana setiap ubat dari jenis porcine ini terdapat label diluarnya. jadi anda boleh memilih sama ada menggunakannya atau tidak dan jika keadaan mendesak, garis panduan berikut boleh dijadikan sebagai rujukan... 
1. TIDAK TERDAPAT LANGSUNG UBAT DARI SUMBER HALAL YANG BOLEH DIGUNAKAN DAN UBAT TERSEBUT MESTILAH DIBUKTIKAN SECARA KLINIKAL SEBAGAI UBAT PILIHAN BAGI RAWATAN PENYAKIT PESAKIT 

2. RAWATAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN UBAT INI ADALAH KRITIKAL TERHADAP PENJAGAAN KESELAMATAN PESAKIT SAMA ADA PETUNJUK KELAS I ATAU KELAS II

3. KEBENARAN MEMPRESKRIPSI UBAT INI TERHAD KEPADA DOKTOR YANG BERAGAMA ISLAM YANG FAHAM UNDANG-UNDANG ISLAM. SEORANG DOKTOR BUKAN ISLAM PERLU MERUJUK KEPADA DOKTOR YANG BERAGAMA ISLAM TENTANG PENGGUNAAN UBAT INI ATAU; DOKTOR YANG MERAWAT BOLEH MERUJUK KEPADA KES-KES TERDAHULU YANG MELIBATKAN PENGGUNAAN UBAT TERSEBUT SEBELUM DIBERIKAN KEPADA PESAKIT YANG BERAGAMA ISLAM 

4. PESAKIT DAN WARIS WAJIB DIBERI PENJELASAN YANG SEBENAR TENTANG PENGGUNAAN UBAT INI OLEH DOKTOR YANG MELAKUKAN RAWATAN. PERSETUJUAN PESAKIT ATAU WARIS ADALAH SATU KEPERLUAN TANPA KOMPROMI. JIKA PERLU, BORANG PERSETUJUAN MESTI DIISI DAN DIMASUKKAN KE DALAM REKOD PESAKIT. 

5. UBAT INI HANYA DIGUNAKAN BAGI TEMPOH MASA TERTENTU SAHAJA DAN BUKAN SECARA BERTERUSAN SEPERTI YANG DISARANKAN OLEH DOKTOR YANG MERAWAT 

6. DALAM KES KECEMASAN YANG MELIBATKAN KESELAMATAN NYAWA PESAKIT, JIKA PENGLIBATAN UBAT INI TERPAKSA DIGUNAKAN, DOKTOR TIDAK PERLU MENDAPATKAN PERSETUJUAN DARIPADA PESAKIT ATAU WARIS
